Our two outdoor basketball courts are located just beside our rink, in the center of camp. Basketball plays a pivotal role in our YCC Landsports program. At YCC, kids build pride, confidence, a healthy lifestyle, and gain the experience of pushing their limits as they work towards a common goal.

Basketball is a fast moving game that involves a lot of starting and stopping. It’s a great exercise that helps build endurance, improve balance and coordination, develop concentration and self-discipline, and build up muscle.

Our adjustable backboards allow kids of all ages to play at a level that makes sense based on their height, skill level, and body type. Above all, they have allowed all of our campers to step on the court and have fun! Coaches and trainers from the Wolves Basketball Program at the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA help ensure that we work on skill development and fun at the same time.
