Samantha Kravitz
Samantha is a grade one teacher with over 20 years of experience in the classroom. She is the mother of two YCCers who love spending their summers at their home away from home. Samantha is a YCC alumnus who spent the best summers of her life at camp.
Samantha loves mentoring new teachers and future leaders. At camp, her role is to support and mentor staff, giving them strategies and tools to help campers be their best selves. She is also hands-on to help campers integrate, resolve conflict, and cope and overcome homesickness. Her favourite part of her role in camp is saying goodnight to our Jr Side campers at bedtime.
Sam’s favourite camp memory is spending her summer in the Village (CITs of 95!) She can still remember how it felt to sing her almamater on stage in the Huberdome. She is most looking forward to working with all the staff again and getting to know the campers!

Kelly spent her first 11 years at YCC as a camper, CIT, and staff member, and returned as adult staff in 2015.
The only thing better than spending her summers at YCC is having her three kids there as campers, loving it as much as she does. Kelly’s favorite camp memories are tied between camp-wide bonfires with everyone singing along to songs from the YCC playbook, running the Armageddon game during Color War, and her amazing SR. CIT summer in Village 96.
